Louisburg Square sits at the heart of Beacon Hill: a private garden surrounded by brick townhouses that have served as the quiet center of Boston's civic, political, and business establishment for nearly two centuries. It is a place where influence has always been exercised with discretion, where strategy unfolds behind closed doors, and where lasting institutions are built.

Principal Consultant
Sterling Rettke founded Louisburg Strategies on a simple conviction: that effective strategy should be accessible to every leader willing to fight for something that matters, not just those with the largest budgets or the most established networks.
His career spans every level of American politics. Sterling has worked on presidential, federal, and state campaigns, including the 2020 effort to elect President Biden in the battleground state of Nevada. He has been a volunteer, staffer, campaign manager, and senior consultant, building a rare understanding of political operations from the ground up.
His experience extends beyond campaigns. Sterling has managed high-value client portfolios in business consulting and run data operations and donor management for nonprofits. The approach is the same in every role: diagnose the challenge, build a strategy on evidence, and execute. Through Louisburg Strategies, he works with candidates, parties, nonprofits, and small businesses on strategic planning, budget optimization, organizational development, and campaign management.
